The Green Line is a mark of demarcation between different factions. A term used in conflict areas to separate waring groups. These lines of separation maybe fluid and transient or can transform into permanent features.
The work concluded with a series of large oil paintings that referencing documentary photography in their scale, proportion and tonal range. These larger works were supported by smaller punctms; moments in an image that refer to a specific element or symbol. In this case a blank wall with numbered opening, netting used to raise the height of a wall, an abandoned post box that is now part of the green line and tools that are no longer being used.
